HOW TO

Get Involved

and Make a Difference

GET INVOLVED

Research indicates that supportive, responsive relationships with caring adults as early in life as possible can prevent or reverse the damaging effects of the toxic stress response.

One of our goals at Hope Collaborative is to ensure that everyone we serve has the access and opportunity to build relationships with others that promote wholeness, unity, and healing. Volunteers are essential for us to reach this goal and serve in a variety of different roles based on their areas of interest and skills.

    • Mentors to serve public school students in Jefferson County, Oldham County, Hardin County, Greater Clark County, New Albany/Floyd County, Elizabethtown Independent Schools, LeRue County, Henry County, Bullitt County, and Clarksville Community Schools.
    • Workshop Leaders and Mentors to lead our Diversion Workshops in Jefferson and Oldham County.

These are just a few of our greatest needs.  We have a variety of other needs and our staff would love to discuss how to get you connected.

“Hopefully, it did as much for the other people as it did for me. It really did divert me onto a better track.”

Oz, Diversion Program Graduate

“I would love to have enough mentors that all of our kids could have a mentor because it is something that they need; it is something they crave.”

Rachel Turk Middle School Council

“We need that partner, and Hope Collaborative is fantastic at this; who is consistent, who communicates, and who brings love to these kids.”
