Mentoring

Students with a mentor

are less likely to skip school

Public School Mentoring

We provide small‑group mentoring—typically groups of four students—within the school setting. Trained mentors meet with students one hour per week during the school year, building trusted relationships and strengthening core social‑emotional skills such as self‑awareness, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and decision‑making. This consistent presence helps students grow in confidence, engagement, and belonging at school.

“We need that partner, and Hope Collaborative is fantastic at this; who is consistent, who communicates, and who brings love to these kids.”

Michelle Dyer Principal of River Valley Middle School

“Our son needed a mentor, he needed a friend, he needed an adult who could help him navigate some of these really big problems who also cared about him on a one-on-one level.  I am so grateful that his mentor was a source of stability during that difficult time.”

Lauren, Mother of a Student

“At a young age, Cody lost his dad. His attitude and outlook were dark. He has been with his mentor for 2 years, and the turnaround has been impactful.”
